Downtown Vancouver to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park: Hop on the free shuttle from Downtown Vancouver with a return service from the Park. Proof of Park admission is required for return service on the shuttle.

By Car
From Downtown Vancouver
Head west on Georgia Street through Stanley Park and across the Lions Gate Bridge. Take the North Vancouver exit onto Marine Drive, then turn left onto Capilano Road. Continue for approximately 1.6 km (1 mile) to reach Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
From the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Bridge
Follow Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) westbound and take Exit 14 for Capilano Road. Turn onto Capilano Road and continue north for approximately 0.8 km (½ mile) to reach Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

Car Parking
Limited paid parking is available at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for $9.00 for up to three hours. RV parking is extremely limited.

Free Overflow Parking
During peak periods, on-site parking may fill up. If this happens, you may be directed to one of our complimentary overflow parking locations:
- Handsworth Secondary School
- Connaught Building underground parking lot in Edgemont Village
When overflow parking is in use, continuous complimentary shuttle service will transport you between the overflow lots and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
Handsworth Secondary School parking is complimentary. If you park at the Connaught Building, consider exploring the shops and restaurants in Edgemont Village before or after your visit.

By Transit
From Waterfront Station, Downtown Vancouver, ride the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, then take the #236 bus to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
From Phibbs Exchange, North Vancouver, take bus #232 and get off at Edgemont Boulevard and Capilano Road.
The #246 bus from Downtown Vancouver stops at Granville Skytrain, Burrard Skytrain, and various bus stops on West Georgia Street. Get off at Ridgewood Drive and Norcross Way then walk North on Capilano Road.

TIP: If you’re coming by SkyTrain or SeaBus and buying single-trip Compass tickets, buy your return ticket in advance at the SeaBus or SkyTrain station to cover your entire transit trip to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and back.
By Bike
From Downtown Vancouver, take the bike lane down Georgia St, cross the scenic Lions Gate Bridge and take the exit to North Vancouver. Head north on Capilano Road for 1.6 m (1 mile).
CAUTION: this ride involves significant hills, and some busy sections of Capilano Road do not have a bike lane.
Bicycle Parking
If you’re biking to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park by bike, you’ll find secure parking right across from the main entrance—outside the Bridge House. A series of bike stalls are neatly lined up on the opposite side of Capilano Road, easily visible from the entrance plaza. There is a designated parking zone for the North Shore E-bike share program. Just lock your bike there and stroll across the street into the park.
While bikes and e‑scooters aren’t permitted inside the attractions, the racks by the Bridge House are free to use and conveniently located so you can securely park before you step onto the suspension bridge.
